Ajdin Kahrović

Chief Technology Officer

Ajdin leads engineering at New Market Trading. He was the founding engineer at defi.app, a consumer DeFi app that grew past 1 million users and $40 billion in trading volume at a $500 million valuation. He built the product from zero, hired its eleven-person engineering team, then ran it as engineering manager at 99.99% uptime with zero exploits. Before that he helped build Radiant Capital, at the time the fourth largest lending protocol with $400 million TVL and the first to offer cross-chain lending across Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base and BNB.

He has been an engineer for 11 years, the last 8 in DeFi, shipping across Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Base, BNB and Sonic, with integrations spanning Aave, Morpho and Hyperliquid and in-house account-abstraction infrastructure. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science, is a visiting university lecturer on digital assets, and won Polygon's award at ETHGlobal 2023.

At NMT he owns the platform architecture, the technical roadmap and every release. His job, in one sentence: keep the system that manages client portfolios scalable, reliable and secure, so that no one but you can ever move your funds.
